I may not be a Christian but I do believe in the power of prayer.
My best girlfriend is going through a very rough time. She's a BBW and she is not well emotionally. She's severely depressed and last time I talked to her we had a fight and she said she just wanted "the pain to stop." She's been suicidal in the past - and she promised me she would call someone instead of hurting herself - but there was something in her voice.
I have no contact with her family or her doctors and I feel helpless. I've tried to stay in touch but if she doesn't want contact I can't get her on the phone or computer. And she's in NJ and I'm in Colorado.
I had a dear friend kill herself in my 20's and I still feel that I could have done more. I don't know if I can handle another one. I'm not saying she's gonna do this - but I really don't know.
