Can someone answer a Camera question for me?

I am trying to post a couple of photos but I keep running into the Jpeg being to large problem. I am a total novice at Digtal cameras (I have a Canon powershot A75) The Question I have is do I change the setting on the camera or do I just crop it down on my MAC photoshop? I would love to share some photos but I am running into that problem. What do you expect I am from Ohio
