Dimensions' loiterer
I'm pretty clueless about the new age of social networking, and there seem to be so many different forms of it out there that I've really ended up ignoring all of them. But this is Dimensions, so I probably care more, and maybe would be willing to leave the precambrian era and figure such a thing out. Maybe.
So please have pity on me, and help me understand what this Dimensions networking tool does! Why would I want a network? Is there any reason not to join someone else's network if asked? Are some activities that people do on Dimensions now only going to be visible to their network? What else should I know?
(and please don't say 'it is kind of like facebook' because I also know next to nothing about facebook--I was pretty state of the art when newsgroups were as sophisticated as the internet got, and I've been falling increasingly out of touch ever since).
