This is not a new discovery, but I was reminded again this weekend how offensively bad Laura Plus is. Laura/Laura Petites is not exactly my wife's dream store, but they usually have a reasonable variety of stuff, some of it nice. Years ago I stopped looking in Laura plus though, because it seemed they never had my wife's colors or styles.

Well, currently they have one of those temporary but indefinate clearance outlets not far from us, it just openned recently and we happened to be going nearby on Sunday, and my wife needs some new tops, and wouldn't mind a new pair or two of shorts, so we went in.

Well, fortunately she can wear a lot of size L or XL tops. There were a lot of cute things there, but then you went into the Laura Plus corner and there was nothing but pastels, sucky fabric, and if there were not baby blue stencilled on kittens there was everything but.

Why can't they run something at least similar to their regular lines in their plus sizes store? GRRRRR!!!!!

She did find a cute shirt and an awesome silk/lycra short sleeve sweater in the regular section, but as far as finging anything for her lower half, where she needs the plus sizes? Forget it!

It is amazing that over the past few years, with a growing population, it seems that they have actually, unbelievably, managed to get WORSE from an already lousy plus sizes collection.
