Just wanted to let anyone in the area know, Celebration of Celts is Sat. May 6th, in Chatham NY!
CoC is an AWESOME Celtic festival, with AWESOME music, delicious food and sooo many vendors selling all kinds of neat things, pertaining to the Celtic heritage (yea thats Irish/Scottish/Welsh etc).
There will be pipe bands (GO ORAN MOR!!!!), celtic rock bands (Greenwich Mean Time and Enter the Haggis happen to be really really awesome), Irish step dancing, falconry demos, re-enactments, arts and crafts, farm animals, heavy athletics (yes, that is the big men in kilts, throwing 'telephone poles') LOTS OF STUFF TO BUY, and LOTS OF FOOD TO EAT.
I love my Irish blood and I go to festivals all summer, but I have to say this is one of the best!
