I know I have posted this before but could not find it and I am wondering how the gals in this forum relate to this song.
On my part, I feel she is wondering all over the world and looking for true love and going from man to man and being wined and dined and yet find those relationships shallow and empty.
She finally realizes that after looking insider herself that she had the happiness all along at home with the man that she thought did not love her and she now knows that her happiness was there all along after her journey of life.
I often wonder when couples have been together for a long extended period of life if they forget what they fell in love with their partners? They seem to dwell on the bad aspects of their relationships and forget the good things and they want to say "adios" to a good thing.
And after going from one person to another and having a shallow empty relations they finally come to a realization that what they dumped was not a bad thing at all and hopefully they can get that happiness back one day with that same boring man who really was not that bad at all.
I was thinking about this song while driving this morning and doing my errands and on a personal note, I like the way she is dressed though it is out of touch these days to dress that way unless you are going to a evening out of town...
