So, I'm on a Chcken Pot Pie kick right now.....

I'm totally addicted and I'm usually buying the super cheap ones that are like
.50 cents or less per pie. Banquet, Swanson...you know the ones I'm talking about. The other day, I was at a Walmart Super store that had WALMART brand Pot Pies - or Great Value I should say, for .44 cents per pie. Let me tell you, I was impressed!

They come in a TIN pan.....and the crust on the bottom gets crisp because of the tin pan...unlike the banquet and Swanson pies that have a cardboard pan with a silver crisper lining...and no matter how you cook them, the bottom is never crisp.

So, thoughts on Pie.....top/bottom crust - should it HAVE a bottom crust (Deidra says yes!) - veggies, no veggies?

My favorites -

Great Value - Top and Bottom Crust - veggies...TIN PAN
Marie Calandar - Top and Bottom Crust - veggies....not enough sauce though
Peperidge Farm T&B Crust
Banquet - T&B Crust
Swanson T&B Crust
Willow Tree Farm - Top crust only

what am I missing?

XOXOXO

Deeds

OH...and how many of those little pies do you normally eat.....I have been eating 5 at a time...but it needs extra sauce, so I've also been adding a can of cream of chicken soup to the mix - witout adding the water of course.
