OK, Anyone else in the Chicago area going absolutely insane over the stupid cicadas? I am in my house, windows closed, with the A/C on and I can STILL hear them buzzing away. I don't remember them being this loud back in 1990, but then, I was younger and less irritable. 
The squirrels and chipmunks all look like little furry footballs and the seagulls are moving inland from Lake Michigan for the crunchy feast. My car is covered in bird doo every morning from the air-rats. My neighbor's dog was out hoovering the yard when I got home for the dog-treats-from-heaven. It's quite the natural spectacle, and I wish it would end soon.
