I was kind of hoping for some advice from an outside source about my status as a student right now. Frankly, the advice from my brothers are both pretty biased on their own life experiences, and I know for a fact we've had it pretty easy through going to college and getting jobs and whatnot...

I'm having trouble finding that one thing I'm passionate for. You know, that one ideal thing that everyone CLAIMS exists that we were personally made to do. I know College is supposed to give you a taste of everything until you find what it is that truly interests you. I've also heard that you can't really make a decision until you join the workforce and get a taste for how "the real world" works. As I haven't held a REAL job but once, I have to go off of education for now. I've jumped majors twice, and I still can't see myself set on any one direction. I truly enjoy history. I think I COULD be a good teacher, but I have my doubts that I would both enjoy teaching history and teach it to the satisfaction of myself and others... Does anyone have stories of ambition or some "secret" method they used? Or am I simply a slave to time?

My humble thanks for any input, no matter how mundane it may appear.
