Silly question but how do you prepare it? I asked my mom and she told me you boil it but you constantly change the water because it's so salty. This doesn't make sense to me because I thought it was a constant, slow simmer. I've seen the sales for corned beef and cabbage and figure it would make a nice weekend dinner. Any experience in making it at home?
