Okay...so we know that I had my snowmachine stolen in March, diagnosed with severe anemia, got the flu, got a migraine ended up in hospital, then had the snowmachine accident.

So I have surgery scheduled for Friday 4/14 for my knee; they have to replace the ACL graft. I also have surgery scheduled on 4/26 for my hernia and removal of excess skin from WLS.

So I tell my bosses about the knee surgery Thursday.

Friday we have our regularly scheduled sales meeting. They said they had "lost confidence" in my ability to do my job and let me go. BTW they had just bought a ticket for me to go to Portland for a sales meeting.

So they give me a weeks severence pay (nice of them) and I spent 2 hours showing them how to do my job.

One of my bosses had to leave the room because he got choked up (huh) and then called me later on to see how I was.

Believe it or not; I'm relieved. I haven't fully analyzed the reason for feeling this way...but I was like "phew, glad this is over."

So I'm now I' gonna go get a new job! Yay!!! I hate interviews....but they of course are a necessary part of getting a job.
