So my teen daughter dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen. My husband does a lot of meticulous fiddly-bits type work and I suspect he would be able to DIY with the help of a kit and video.
Has anyone tried doing this, and how did it go?
Also: I have NO IDEA if I have an iPhone 3G or an iPhone 3GS. What's the difference? Does one jump up and hit you over the head when reminding one of appointments? Make coffee? Do tricks? How can I tell?
I know, this is COMPLETELY off topic -- but youse guys are the gang I know and love.
