Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that Lands End now sells custom clothing available in plus sizes. You can design your own jeans and chinos. You basically fill out an online order form that asks you your measurements. I believe the max. sizes are 57" waist, 61" hip.
They also have a maximum weight of something like 245 lbs., but I'm way heavier than that and I would easily fit into a pant made quite a bit below there maximum measurements. So, if any of you decide to order, I think you can just enter the max. weight and not worry weather it's your true weight. Make sure your measurements are correct, though.
The cool thing about this custom design service is that you can pick out options like inseam length, whether you want pockets, how high you want your waist, some color options. Best of all, you get to tell them what kind of particular shape your figure is. For example, they have an option to describe your waist to hip ratio, and shape of your butt. I think this is great! Maybe for once I can get a pair of pants that fit around my hips, and DON'T have a huge gaping waist!
If any of you girls have bought a pair, or buy one in the future, post to let everyone else know how things work out.
