Locally there is a theater that has all kinds of shows. It was built in the days of vaudeville and has seats meant for the average person in 1925. In the last 85 years the average American bottom has expanded somewhat.

My friend loves the big band sound and the Glenn Miller big-band orchestra was coming to this local theater. Years ago I had talked to the management of this theater about the need for seats that would handle people with big bottoms. This time, when I went in and asked about seating I was told they were familiar with handling the situation. The night of the show, for regular admission price, we were given handicap seating in the front row. My friend went in first will I went and found a place to park the car. My friend had already told the staff that several days ago they had been notified of our coming. By the time I got back to the theater the staff had already shown my friend to her seat

My friend loved the show. Her enthusiasm was similar to the enthusiasm I would've had had it been a, "Best of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie" show.

Yours truly,

Russell Williams
