I just finished eating some pasta that was made with squid's-ink egg noodles.
Apparently, they use the ink to colour the noodles black.
I was idly wondering if squid's ink is a dairy product. By my understanding, if it comes out of an animal (milk, eggs, honey), it's dairy.
Does anyone know?
