Hi,

Sorry for just joining and jumping in!

My problem is this - I've had my hair done, and it's wrecked. I have naturally thick hair, which is dyed darker. I had a disaster haircut a couple of weeks back, so went to the salon to get it fixed. It looked lovely when it was done, but now I've come to do it myself I've realised she's totally destroyed it.

She's cut in really short layers, which stick up unless I straighten it. Thing is, my hair's not in good enough condition to straigten. It's too short to just tie back and leave, and too curly/wavy to not do something with. She used GHD's on it when I asked her not to, and now it's all splitting and dull and breaking.

I have arthritis in both my hands, and told her that I needed a hairdo I could just style with a round brush and a hairdryer - a one length bob, really. It's all choppy and needs to be straightened within an inch of its life now.

:( Help! What can I do?
