Contrast this with the vitriol, fear, and pessimism being spouted by conservatives (just listen to what GOP presidential hopefuls are saying). They fear gay love, they fear little immigrant babies, they believe ISIS is about to take over the world, they want to be ever more punitive rather than loving, they see the world as a scary dangerous place.
