Hiya folks,
I'm not sure how many of you will remember me, as it's been a few years since I was a regular around here. I used to post a lot more often from late '97 to late '04, at which point a certain extracurricular endeavor began to demand more and more of my time. Fortunately, it looks like my efforts are about to pay off in a small dividend so I was hoping it might be okay to share the news with my old Dimensions friends.
Anyway, last week I shot an appearance for the new TV series "Talking Metal on fuse." It's a rock news & entertainment program on the fuse network (which apparently isn't supposed to be capitalized, for some reason), featuring two hosts and assorted music celebs like Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Halford, Dave Mustaine, etc.. I got the call to sit in with them as something of a guest commentator and thankfully it went very well. I'm not sure how much of my contributions will appear in the program but I sat in for the entire episode so hopefully a few of my one-liners will make the final cut.
The episode is scheduled to premiere this Friday, March 14th at midnight... technically making it March 15th (not to mention my birthday, oddly enough). So even though the episode has absolutely nothing to do with fat chicks, I figured it couldn't hurt to mention that a certain fat chick admirer will be making his way into your homes this weekend, should you choose to tune in.
By the way, the 12:00 midnight air time only holds true for the east coast: west coasters will be getting the feed at 9:00 PM. Anybody in the middle somewhere... well, you probably know what time zone you're in better than I do...
Attached is a photo taken on the set that day. For those of you not already in the know, uh... I'm the one in the banana suit. Long story there. For now let's just say that's it's for... splits and giggles.
More photos and a brief write-up of the episode are available here:

And here's a link to the official "Talking Metal on fuse" website, for more information about the show itself:

Anyway, my thanks to the flock for allowing this lost sheep his momentary indulgence. It's taken a LOT of work to get where I am now so I suppose I just wanted to share this milestone with those who encouraged me along the way.
See you on Friday, everyone!
