Have any of you participated in "clubs" where you practice the fine art of cooking and entertaining?
I've had a few friends tell me about doing that. Usually it's a small group of couples or singles that spend one night a month whipping up fantastic food offerings for the others in the group. The following month, another member is up for chef/entertaining duties.
I also heard of one group where one couple make and serve an appetizer at their house, the next couple had the entree at the other house, etc, etc, finally ending in desert at the last house. That was in a subdivision where everyone was very close by...made it much more easy than say covering 50 miles for dessert.
Anyway, just wondering if any of ya'll have participated in activities like this. I think it sounds purty fun.
