"Hello Ho Ho Tai it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums? "
I came down with some sort of virus about a week before Christmas. While probably not all that sick in medical terms, I've not been up to anything requiring ambition or creativity. The doctor tells me that it's not the 'flu' - just one of millions of viruses 'just a'lookin' for a home' and I guess it found one. Dear Mrs Ho Ho was an angel all through it, as always, and never came down with anything.
I am told that, whatever it is, it is unusual in that most people seem to take about twice as long to recover fully as they would if it were seasonal flu. I guess the immune system, when faced with an unknown, tries the usual stuff - fever, chills, aches, pains, et c. and if that doesn't work, it has to create a new antibody that does work. Well, I think we won this one.
I am curious, though, if any of you are experiencing individual cases, or clusters, of sometehing similar. I have not been able to pin down much epidemiology via CDC, et c.
Your comments are welcome.
