I used to be a dog person. But then, four years ago, I was standing in line at the pet store buying food for my dog when a woman walked up to the front counter with a 4 week old grey tiger kitten, put it on the counter, anounced that she was leaving it because she couldn't take care of it, and then promptly turned on her heals and left before anyone could say anything. The pet store was not licensed to sell kittens therefore they were not allowed to have a kitten in the store so... after about twenty minutes of talking to the clerk and discussing the fact that people apparently do things like that on a regular basis... I walked out with my dog, the dog food, 100 bucks worth of kitten junk and a kitten named Pete. It wasn't love at first sight by any means, but I am now officially a "cat guy." And my pet is also a chunky boy at 18lbs.
So I was wondering how many of you have pets? Is your pet "extra fluffy" or slim and trim?
