Does being fat make you a worse parent?

This topic comes up in passing in threads periodically, and people generally shy away from talking about it more. It also seems to get implied in the media fairly often, although they tend to also shy away from saying so explicitly.

I’m going to take a shot at addressing it straight on: All else being equal, are you a worse parent if you are fat?

Of course, more than ‘yes’ or ‘no’ what is interesting is everybody’s thoughts around the topic.
