Have you ever had one of those dreams that resonates with you all day?
Last night I had one of those dreams and it left me feeling really empty today. It felt really long and it was a dream that felt disturbingly like real life. I was with this girl for what seemed like hours and hours. Getting to know her, cuddling with her. We went swimming, hiking, cuddling--it was heavenly.
Then, like clockwork, the sound of my cell phone cut through the atmosphere and woke me up. Since then, I've been wishing I could just fall back into sleep and resurrect this lovely scenario. I woke up feeling so alone and empty inside.
Do you ever get that feeling after a really good dream? Makes me wish I had someone to hold me when I awake in the morning.
