Maybe it's just down here in Tejas where the language barrier is a tad higher but why is it so freaking hard to get what you ordered at fast food drive thrus?!? Does anybody else have this problem? I mean why is it so hard to look at an order, take those things off a warming rack, put them in a bag and shove them out a damn window? I'd say lately the odds I'll get what I ordered and charged correctly the first time are about one in three.

I've never worked in a fast food place so maybe someone who has can help me here. Am I being unreasonable? I don't mind checking the receipt but I don't feel like looking inside every wrapper and box while people are waiting behind me.

I do have an idea for a solution though. Let me buy "order insurance". Charge me $1 or 5%, whichever is greater, and if what's on my receipt isn't in the bag it's on the house with a free drink or dessert. I'll take those odds, at least until management figures out how to get it right.

Who do you think is worst at getting orders right, btw? My worst luck has been with Burger King, I think?

Mods, sorry if this is better suited to the random complaints thread? Seemed like a Foodee issue to me.
