Finally, after all these decades, a new movie I'd actually like to see!
It stars John Goodman as Roth, and features Ann Margaret, Steve Austin (of "CARtoons" magazine), Jay Leno, Brian Wilson, and Matt Groening.
More than just a hot-rodder (made one of the first, if not the first fiberglass-bodied customs), Roth was an artist and a pioneer. He was one of the first people to put an image on a T-shirt, for example.
Also, out of disgust with Mickey Mouse, he created the popular counter-culture character Rat Fink, who made it cool to be outside of the mainstream.
