Hagerstown can use the tourist business.

In todays paper there was an article saying that Hagerstown is the fattest city in Maryland. Supposedly about 30 precent of the people of Hagerstown have a BMI of over 30.

That would be 206 pounds on a person who is 5' 9" tall.

Hagerstown has only one Walmart, it is right off of the interstate and from personal observation it would seem that most of the 30% of fat people in Hagerstown shop at the Walmart.

There is a McDonalds right inside the Western entrance. A nice place to stop, eat, and meet people.

Hagerstown also has a great symphony orchestra, a wondrful park and art museum. Several excellent county parks and a 50 mile long canal path for walking or riding scooters and cycles on.

The school superintendent was just chosen as the outstanding school supertendent in the nation.

Year after year the local high schools make the list of the best high schools in the nation.

The local school system has an IB program.

So come to hagerstown for the people, the recreation, the education and the food. Hagerstown has many excellent all you can eat places featuring a varitey of cuseune.
