on another thread about FAs and ageism the ladies made some great points. i mentioned a handsome mature guy i knew who was having problems finding a bbw. he feels it has something to do with his age. the ladies made the point that it was probably more than likely his reputation that was the problem. what do you think about an FA with a reputation?
frankly i find a lot of FAs who travel in the BBW community circles to be a bit scary. i might not in a more usual situation. but in such a small community you see and hear many things that you might not in the rest of the dating world where people have a little more anonymity. there aren't so many people interjecting an opinion and you get to know the person on their own merits. and, also you might not be sure when the opinions given have something to to do with an ulterior motive that you know nothing about--just like anywhere else.
i was wondering. what should one do with an FA with a reputation? should a BBW give him a break because its true that often if you date inside of the community you'd hear things you might not hear ordinarily? its also true that a lot of people go through a learning curve when it comes to dating and might make mistakes. BBWs and FAs both have all kinds of issues to contend with that might not create a situation where people are their ideal selves. i know that applies to me for sure. or should we count ourselves lucky just to know things that other people might not get to know and kick an FA with a bad rep to the curb?
