Now we all get to be scared to death of the fat on the "inside".
Disclaimer: I KNOW that fat on/around organs is actually a potential health issue, I get that.
HOWEVER - I fully believe that the media blitz about "visceral" fat is just another way to fully stigmatize fat in ALLL its evil incarnations.
Do I now get to point and laugh at skinny people and their fat organs? Do I get to say "Moment on the lips, lifetime on the liver!" to them?
So, the fat=evil isn't sinking in enough, so now it's a scary, invisible, specter who takes over your body. It's an evil you're fighting and you can't even see it!
