I wanted to post about some Boar's Head cold cuts I bought today but thought I would make more of a topic out of it.
Has anyone tried the Boar's Head Londonport Roast Beef? I tried it today for the first time (it's expensive - like $10/lb). Anyhow it's very tasty! It is described as: "enhanced with port wine, herbs & spices, then stung with just a touch of honey".
I also bought pepper ham and lebanon bologna. But the roast beef really stood out.
When it comes to sandwiches, I am not much of fan of sandwiches I make myself (unless it's a BLT or grilled cheese). I much prefer to just eat the cold cuts rolled up along side some veggies, fruit, cheese. Kind of a deconstructed sandwich.
Do you have favorite cold cuts? Do you experiment with new things or the same old same old?
Do you think sandwiches taste better when someone else makes them?
