Here's an interesting website on the history of food I found via an article on the origin of cupcakes in the latest Scientific American:

Starting way back in pre-historic times it goes all the way up to today with entries on 'Recessipes' and 'Twecipes'. Many, many links with historical anecdotes about various food items and their related recipes. Very detailed and extremely interesting. Hope all you food lovers enjoy!
