People who know me well, know I am unable to make a decision when it means narrowing something down to ONE. Combo plates were invented for me.

So, you'll understand why I needed to post more than one recipe. But they are easy, quick and fun, and they do have a theme ingredient - my beloved cream cheese. So, see if any of them cries "eat me" and give it a try.

These are party standards for me, and for my best friend, Linda. The crab and the fruit dip I believe she discovered, the garlic beef roll-ups were mine.

Here goes! Sorry I don't have pics - maybe I can google and find something that looks close. Next time I make one of these, I will snap a pic.

1. FRUIT DIP

View attachment creamy-cinnamon-fruit-dip.jpg

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tblsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Mix all together until smooth. Serve with fruit. Apples are quick and easy, and if you use Granny Smith apples they don't brown the way most apples do. Also good with strawberries, melon...anything! This is SOOOO good. I just eat it with a spoon.

Variation: Some people use marshmallow fluff with the cream cheese instead of the confectioners sugar. I've never tried it tho'.
