I am reading through Business Week's big election issue with all sorts of interesting stats and information, and one caught my eye: Foreign enrollment in US universities and vocational schools, as well as exchange students. Results?
#1 is Canada with 423,000, up 870% since 2008! That is a massive, massive increase and I wonder how that came about. Anyone familiar with the issue?
#2 was Mexico with 384k, up 450% since 2008. Interestingly, while China (277k) also had a big increase (122%), the rest of the top nations had decreases or stayed steady.
