I am working to produce a short documentary that is a part of a
series of immersionist pieces on different sub-groups in America.
The way the series work is that we send a reporter -- Thomas -- to
stay with different families for three days, and we sort of shoot
everything that happens. He's stayed with Upper East Side WASPS,
with Hasidic Jewish people, with a motorcycle gang -- the idea is
just to report kind of passively, simply by being in a situation.
I want to do a piece about fat people. It's a hard one to do though,
because like I was saying on the phone, I don't want to approach
people on the street and insult them, so I thought it might be good
to go through an organization like yours, to find a family that's
comfortable with the subject and has a political agenda to put
forth...
We can pay for the hosting.... Usually it's just a nominal sum to
