A man was working in the mines, and he comes up, and there's nobody about. Cars litter the streets. From village to town to city, No one. All through Britian. Not a soul. Across the channel to Europe. Empty. Devoid of anyone. To the near east. The Far East. Across the ocean to America. All the way across America to New York City.
No one. This takes him eight years. Finally, he gets to the top, of the Empire State Building. And he thought, "That's it. I'm the only one left alive. I can't live my life like this, without other people. I'll jump off, and destroy myself."
