are fat people and their admirers too dependent on the opinion of others for their well being? i have been looking at threads here for years and one common denominator seems to be the angst people tend to feel about what other people say think or feel about them. are we giving up too much of our power by requesting and requiring that approval? i know its natural to want it but should our very worth as a human being come into question if we don't always have it? can we be satisfied if we give approval to ourselves. could it be possible that maybe that self approval might be catching with others when they don't sense our own self doubt about who we are and what we like? what if we gave people no other choice but to accept?
