So..I know this shouldn't impact my life in any way..but I am curious. Why are so many Hollywood starlet types revealing their nether-regions..by wearing no underwear under insanely short skirts and this being captured (of course) by obtrusive photogs?

Is it for negative publicity? I'm kinda horrified by this..am I being a prude? What are your thoughts?
