A while ago I recall a prolific writer whose female, BBW-type characters were always kinda mean, or sarcastic, or brash, and not always a huge fan of their gained weight.
In particular was one where the narrator is meeting his girlfriend's family for the first time, and she seems to be going out of her way to stuff herself on the way there. As it turns out, when they get there, she's revealed to have always been the smallest sister of the family in comparison to her bigger sisters and mother, and has actually been tryign to make herself -look- bigger so they won't pick on her.
Naturally, I have no idea where this story is, nor the names of any of the characters. Does it ring a familiar bell to anyone?
