The great white north, eh?
This is more of a rant than looking for help. I’m mildly allergic to wool. Not like I come up in huge blotches if I come near it, but over time it will make me itchy no matter how fine of a wool it is, and if I have hay fever going on at the same time I can react to the wool more strongly than that (it is a sheep thing apparently, lanolin based lotions also make me feel yucky).

The thing is, most of the nicest looking men’s clothes is made of wool! I was checking out the mall near my new workplace at lunch, and one store had the most beautiful and soft feeling pull-overs—in wool. The sharpest looking dress pants are wool. Good warm sweaters are made of wool. And of course almost all decent suits are wool.

If I hit it rich some day I’ll just replace all of those items with their silk equivalents, but that isn’t an option right now.

There are worse problems to have, but right now my allergy to wool is really bugging me!
