I hope that you will have a nice quiet birthday. If you need to, get a good bottle of wine, some cheese & crackers and have a party at your place. (I have had some pretty interesting parties of my own in that fashion. One word of warning tho, be careful about getting on the phone and calling folks up after you've drunk about half the bottle of wine.)
However, I'm not sure what the rules are about operating a scooter while having a wine and cheese party. Have a nice birthday. And pooh on whoever in your family that is giving you a hard time.
