I want to start by saying that I know that being fat is not unhealthy. But it is a risk factor. For a moment lets assume(pretend) that it is unhealthy because some people do. Is it wrong to be attracted to a characteristic that increases the risk of certain diseases? My question stems from the fact that I am attracted to fat women. It is just a preference since I see women all the time that are thinner and still beautiful. But I feel guilty in being attracted to something that could be potentially dangerous. My wife is a BBW and even though she appreciates the fact that I love her body, she sometimes gets upset because she feels she is unhealthy. I want her to live a long life and do whatever she can to reduce the risks of getting certain diseases, but I love her fat body and would be less attracted to her physically if she lost weight(Though I would never love her less). It is similar to smoking. If someone thinks it's sexy to see someone else smoke, should they feel guilty because it has health risks associated with it?
