Looking for some friendly advice, tips and tricks :)

I have been recently getting odd burning red itches on my arms. They flame up, itch a bit, radiate heat and then just vanish. I probably get them at least twice a week. I have started to think that maybe its is down to something I have eaten. I am a bit dubious about having any tests done just yet as I havent really tried eliminating anything from my diet as such. I have also been feeling pretty down and fatigued lately so I have been on the look out for something to perk me up for springtime. A plan of action popped into my brain, just as I was munching on my last tasty pancake for shrove Tuesday...

I am going to try and eat a Vegan diet over Lent whilst keeping a diary of everything I eat in the day and if I get any skin flare ups or not, just to keep an eye on everything. I am usually rubbish at starting new healthy plans unless I have a certain timeframe to work around. If I keep it up for Lent but still have the skin rashes and general feeling of crappiness I will haul ass to the Docs, but at least then I will have a diary of foods to look back over for diagnosis information.

I am researching as much into this online as I can but its all so complicated as I know everyone is so different, but if this has happened to any on you, how did you deal with it? What were the foods that brought out the skin rash?

Also, any lovely vegans out there fancy inspiring me with tasty treats to enjoy whilst on this diet? (I use the 'd' word with caution!, just pointing out this is not a lose weight plan...oh no no!....this is a MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER plan of action!

Enlighten me folks I am befuddled and bemused!
