Last week, AP ran a story that an AIDS activist and health organization has filed a complaint with CAL-OSHA against Hustler owner, Larry Flynt, claiming he violated labor laws. Specifically, the activist group is alleging Mr. Flynt insisted his porn actors perform their sex scenes in the videos without using a condom. Mr. Flynt was quoted in the complaint as saying it sold more videos to show sex without condoms.
California's branch of OSHA has a specific labor regulation that requires employees to be protected against AIDS, hepatitis, and other bloodborne pathogens. (It is also written into federal law that applies in all other states as well.) Now, here's where the dream job (for some people) comes in . . . .
As evidence of the violation, the AIDS activist group brought 100 pornographic movies to the OSHA office that shows men having sex without condoms. In only one of the movies is condoms in use. Moore's comments: I imagine just about now, people are fighting over who get's to work on this file. Can you imagine what is going to happen while they watch the evidence at work?
Under the Freedom of Information Act, do you think they'll let someone else look at their files too?
