Since about once a year rumors start circulating about my suspected demise, I just thought I'd wave hello and say the usual Mark Twain quote: "Rumors of my death have been highly exaggerated."
I am still VP of the Los Angeles chapter of NAAFA, but I no longer do any modeling. However, I do engage in an occasional interview or documentary (nothing in the works currently). I remain a fat activist in general, and an advocate for the rights of supersize people in particular.
For those of you who live in the Los Angeles area, we would love to see you at one of our monthly meetings. They are always a lot of fun, and are free of charge, of course. Refreshments are served, but we also do dinner after the meeting (either potluck or delivery from a local restaurant, which means you would have to pay for your own meal).
