What's style and fashion without properly outfitted living quarters?
I'm very very into home making as well and there isn't a thread for that. I think it might be cool to swap ideas about paint, fabric, decorating, DIY projects, etc.
We (well, I am the creative force behind it) are in the process of re-decorating our home and I am having a blast so far. Ikea, Target, and TJMaxx have lended me some great finds -- I've got big, plush ivory neutral color couches in the living room so I'm jazzing them up with brightly colored pillows in a couple different shapes (square and rectangle) that have sort of a circle kind of print on them. I also bought a bright turquoise throw (it matches the pillows)that I have on my chaise next to the window. I am in the process of hunting for new lamps, a big brown floor vase, new window treatments (probably just vertical blinds and maybe a curtain cover)and an area rug to complete that room. Oh and I'm thinking about rearranging the furniture too, ya' know...to keep my feng shui on point.
So what about you gals (and guys)? Are you into interior design? Doing a home project or maybe you've hired a professional? Let's share!
