"She Coo"
This was sent to me as an e-mail. I thought it was cute, please respond if you have time or care.
1. Egg nog or hot chocolate? Both, depending on mood, but never at the same time. That's just vulgar.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the
tree? In gift bags usually. Does that count as wrapped?
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? I prefer color, mother like white. Mother is the one who spends the time and money decorating, so white.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No, we got enough plants and the people my mom invites for Christmas are not people I want to kiss.
5. When do you put your decorations up? Day after Thanksgiving, if the neighborhood crackhead or a Mexican is looking for work
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Fried Turkey
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? One year, I Christmas tree was so old, it would not stand up no matter how much padding we put in the base. We finally took the top of the tree (it's fake) and put in a large flowerpot. We put presents under the Christmas Bush. It was decorated and everything. Giant bow, garland, the works.
8. And how did you learn the truth about Santa? I can't remember, but I have memories of wrapping my own gifts as early as 10.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Nope, I'm traditional like that. Even if I know what the gift is, I will re-wrap it and open it again Christmas.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? With lights, ornaments, garland and bows
11. Snow...love it or dread it? Love to see it, it means that I'm not going to work. Everyone knows Memphis shut down when there is snow and it sticks.--Seconded
12. Can you ice skate? No, I can barely keep balance in flat shoes
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My Rose shaped cupcake pan. It's a pain to clean, but the roselettes are too beautiful for words. I just wished they iced better.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Celebrating with the Family
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert? My Irish Creme Cheesecake
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? The opening of the gifts, going to take naps after eating and before cleaning the kitchen
17. What tops your tree? an star on one, nothing yet on the other two
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Both, but I think I lean toward giving more. I go overboard in Dollar Tree thinking of everyone I need to give to
19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Ukranian Bell Carol, any version at all (Tran-Siberian Orchestra, Destiny's Child, Manhein Steamroller)
20. Candy Canes! Not really
