These past few days I've had a major hankering for a proper sundae done up right with all of the toppings. Most likely it's the warmish weather triggering my ice cream fantasies. It's been a *long* time since i've actually made myself one so yesterday I finally caved in and purchased the proper supplies.I knew it would cost more money than I should be spending but sometimes you just gotta give in to your urges.

So after I came home from the super market I set about making it up and devouring it.It was a huge dissappointment.I used vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, marshmallow goop and cool whip.My first mistake was the marshmallow sauce by Smuckers..This stuff is vile!! So bad that even though it killed me to do so I had to throw the rest of it out.

I also didn't enjoy the cool whip like I once did.As a kid I used to sneak into the fridge and eat this stuff straight out of the container with a spoon, now it just seemed to taste artificial and full of chemicals. Next time I'm going with real whipped cream! My final mistake was that I forgot the walnuts in syrup. It just didn't feel like a real sundae without the nuts.Overall the sundae was none too satisfying so I know in the near future I'm going to have to try and create one that lives up to my expectations.

Give me some ideas to work with here people. What is your idea of the perfect sundae? :eat1:
