I added a poll to my thread (sticky) on SA history

The point at which those of us, as individuals in a community, "became" fat has always been of interest to me. I have therefore added a poll to my thread on 'your size acceptance history' that has now become a sticky.

I have left the responses public because, well--it's not like we can be in the closet about our fatness, anyway (right?), and I hope to develop the responses into a discussion at a later date, so I'd like to know who is in which camp.

Also, I have offered ony two options--the "born fat" category includes anyone who may have been a relatively normal weight as a toddler or young child but who gained and maintained the bulk of their weight during childhood or adolescence (and therefore likely suffered the brunt of taunting and teasing by their peers during their developmental years.) The 'became fat as an adult' includes people who got through that period of development relatively unscathed, who perhaps gained the bulk of their weight during/after college, marriage, and/or pregnancy.

If for some reason you don't want to respond to the poll because you don't want your answer known (I can't imagine why it would matter, but I will respect that), I will consider changing it to anonymous responses if the software will allow me to do so.
