Six -- count 'em -- years ago, I stepped into the hallowed halls of graduate school.
Three years and one master's degree ...
One year required post-grad education ...
One year required internship...
One year of working odd/temp (and sometimes odd temp) jobs while waiting and waiting ...
Five interviews ....
and I now have a job in my field, to be paid a salary commensurate with what the job entails (and one that recognizes the staggering student loanage to be repaid) ... doing what I love, in a setting that I love, woohoo!!!
As you know, I seldom reveal much of myself on the boards, but I will tell you this much and trust you not to sprawl it all over the Internet, please.
All that schooling and interning and such has been preparation for the ordained ministry, and I'll be serving a church as an associate pastor.
Feel free to be shocked and/or burst into giggles at the idea.
