So I've been struggling with this forever now, but even more lately:
I NEED A JOB! I'm attending school from home and paying for it myself. I also pay several other bills and am in severe need of an income!! The problem with this? Well I don't have a high school degree, so jobs are really hard to come by. Not only that, but because of my size (the reason I am posting this here), I can't work a job where I have to stand for extended periods of time. I've been looking for secretary jobs and the like, but they all require experience. I've also been looking at telecommuting jobs, but so far, they are all scams, even if they claim not to be.
I don't know if any of you actually work from home or know anything that could help me, but I am way desperate. I've looked everywhere, and then it finally popped in my head that it would be a good idea to ask here!
Before anyone suggests it, SSI or SSDI is out of the question. I don't know if I could get it for my obesity. I know I could get it for my "mental disorders", but my therapist refuses to sign the papers. My mother has also said the second I apply for SSI/SSDI, I get kicked out of the house.
One other question I have:
Medicaid/Medicare..... what are the requirements? I have absolutely no income (minus the site... not much to speak of) but my mother makes $32,000 a year, and I am still her dependent.
