Yesterday was probably one of the hardest days..and we've all been there.

The church was packed.there had to be at least 300 or so people there. It took 45 mins to walk everyone out that's how crowded it was.

The funeral itself was beautiful. They had a video with pictures of him from birth to present day. It was hard to see but very comforting at the same time.

They asked people who wanted to say a few words to come up to the front of the church and do so. No one else from my group would so I did, on everyone's behalf. I couldn't tell you what I said..I remember taking a deep breath and saying I can do this and that's all I can remember. Everyone told me I did a great job, so hopefully I didn't sound like too much of an idiot.

We went to the graveside services where we all released balloons with Luke's favorite poem "Footprints in the Sand" attached and a message to Luke that we loved him.

We ended the day by having dinner together. There were about 12 of us that went to dinner and just got reaquainted.

It was a hard, emotional day, but in the end it was ok. I was in bed by 8..my head hurt from crying so much.

Thanks again for everyone who has been so supportive. I really appreciate it :)
